Earth Hour

What did you guys think about earth hour? Would you like to change anything for next year?

playtime would be the best during earth hour

Yeah. But I was hoping to bring in a video to watch in the gym about the environment (I know that it sounds dull, but its educational!) with the whole school in there watching.

Well, for earth hour, we can have a school-wide scavenger hunt.

That would be a great idea, if Mr. Wetherell would allow over 400 students running around the school.

ms. macaulay even if we were watching a moivie wouldn't that still be wasting energy when the main point of earth hour is to not use energy.

adiba, dont forget, technology can enable us to do anything that is eco friendly. i dont know how, but you can ask david to find out how to make the projector and stuff eco friendly (hes also the admin of the forum).

Ms. MacAulay is correct.

Now with technology, you can enable all machines to be put onto power save. Basically it reduces the amount of energy as much as possible. But if you are playing a movie, then the graphics might be a little bit fussy (by fussy I mean something that you can't see very clearly). But, with my laptop and projector, it won't be a problem if we had to use our laptop and my projector.

i think that if we give them a quick multiple choice question for them to fill out as a class during earth hour and maybe send them to ms macaulay, i think that it would be a great idea
