An idea that I don't know if we should do...

OK...I have an idea. After when we are done with the green day event, we can also do more fund raising things for the school. For example, save up money to buy an energy efficient AC. We don't have to fund raise for an AC, though. We can fund raise for different things, like to save up money to switch all the old monitors in the lab with LCD/HD energy efficient monitors, or we can buy energy efficient computers.

Any thoughts?

well,we dont have much time left before the end of the year but I think we cold. But we need to know what we are raising money for and how, we should bring this up next meeting

I think it is a very good idea but we need to get someother things out of the way first, green day, eco certifacates( for theachers) and eco annoncements. Plus we need a relly good way to make money, and we need to know what we are going to use the money for.

with regards to the eco announcements, i think that we should just drop that until when the green day problem is settled

so what is the price for an average and decent monitor?

approx. 50 bucks for a regular lcd monitor

i dont know...im still thinking if we should still do it...i mean like we have a lot of fundraisers done already. but using the jump rope for heart fundraiser as an example, they only raised over 600 bucks! that is enough to buy a lot of monitors, but i was also thinking that the school should keeps some of this...any thoughts?
